As anyone who has watched the past seasons of The Rachel Zoe Project know, Rachel literally (definition Rachel’s not the real definition is an objective reality), lives and breathes for the awards shows. The first episode of season three was surprisingly free of any red carpet machinations, but ran into the Golden Globes face-first last night.

There were dresses! And the problems! And late components! It is now clear that the show would be no narrative at all, because I think everyone really watch to see Birkins Rachel and Brad ridiculous dresses and dancing around and trying on clothes. They could just do this for an hour every week and I still watch, as they will not have to worry about heavy-handedly trying to remind us that Rodger is football loving, beer-drinking, straight dudebro. None of us do not care – more Van Cleef, please.

Of course things started with a shopping trip to Fred Segal, but Rachel was not feeling shopportunistic as usual drama because of the upcoming Golden Globes. This does not shopping did not happen, though – of course he did. Rachel finally managed to get out of unfair plush bathrobe (do this live in a hotel?) And appeared to find new looks for a “new beginning” with Brad, who thinks he should be butch things up a bit. I disagree – I love how delightfully un-lesbian Brad is, what with his bow tie and glasses retro. It works for him. For its part, Rachel is getting a bob for about a second and a half, but rightly concluded that this would be a great idea.

I’m really quite excited by all things related to 10th Anniversary of Balenciaga is now. First we had a metallic finish bags at Neiman Marcus, then the lizard embossed First edition, and now an animal print Balenciaga First. And this version is by far the most “out there” in team, but also what is most likely.

I fell in love again with floral S / S 2008 BBag and now I’m fascinated by Balenciaga Animal Print first.

I’ve learned my lesson. I see a Balenciaga bag in person before I make another purchase. I hope that this bag is not exclusive to online shopping, because Vlad and I will be in New York this weekend and would love to check this bag in person. He has a chance to be amazing and a chance to be a mess. I would be amazing. I want to buy it and wear it with jeans, heels and a simple top. I want people to look at it and wonder when exactly did this Balenciaga bag and why. Because let’s face it, this is not a safe option.

The calfskin trim is balanced by the skin pony hair with animal print. I’m always dubious about this type of goal, but at the same time can provide the perfect amount of dimension and texture to the bag itself. So dear animal print handbag Balenciaga, please be in New York and please be kind of surprising to me. The price is $ 1,595 through the Balenciaga.

Do you think that we will stop covering the collection of the Fashion Week only because fashion week is over? NEVER! Now that the chaos has died down, we’re going to go back and look at some of the smaller brands that are lost in the shuffle, since the spring of 2011 Loewe in the bag. Regardless of whether or not these bags appeal to your personal sense of style, Loewe definitely wins the award of the season for most openly Gleeful Handbag Collection.

Sherbet has never been my favorite dessert or a color palette, but somehow, Loewe creative director Stephen Vevers makes it work on pure form, for which Loewe is known. Much has been made Vevers arrival “to the brand of Mulberry and commitment to new minimalism, but these bags do not seem to me a minimum as much as a classic. Thrives as haircalf leopard print applique flowers and a tiny hint at the transformation Vevers made on Mulberry, so we’ll see if his newfound support for a simplified design, in fact, is itself in the next few seasons.

So, I have a confession; I do not own an exotic bag of my own. I have a beautiful Adriana Castro cosmetic bag, but I have an exotic bag. And when it comes to me and exotics, I’m very picky. Just as I am sure you, know everything that goes into an exotic bag. Like so many other bags time and time and again throughout the manufacture of the bag. And while it might be me only when it comes to exotic, I get even more into the production process.

Like I said before, we need a great bag draped in exotic materials to make me want … no scratch that … yearn for it. The LAI Jesslyn Small Tote is an exotic bag that has made me yearn for it! What’s even better is that the colors of this Autumn Bag cry over just about any other bag I’ve seen so far.

First off, this is the kind of bag you can carry the day without someone thinking, “holy walk of shame”, or flying at night without thinking, “yikes, bad choice to go home before you go.” And let’s be honest, there are those days where you do not have time between work and life to change your wardrobe. But is this beautiful python skin I have been hooked. Combinations of copper, black and gray perfect bind . There is no strange move; not embarrassed cooperation; all just works! Grab onto the open top, as you head out of the house and you will find yourself loving the peak hold off more than you may have realized. In Then open the bag and you will see the detail has not stood out from the bag as the leather lining. Beautiful through and through. I’m loving it! Buy through Bluefly on sale for $ 390.

I’m adoring fully Marc by Marc Jacobs Petal to the track Metal. We have covered already Pouchette and bag. Today I am a hobo to share with you and I’m pretty sure you will not be disappointed; I know I’m not.

The Marc by Marc Jacobs Horseshoe Metal Evie Hobo is a great bag with the right amount of sparkle to it. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful skin. It’s so soft and greasy; It has to look good in your hand. It looked even closer I kept finding other things that made me say, “oooohhhh, aaahhhh”. I am a huge fan of exposed zippers and pockets with gold dove detail is continued in line with Petal Metal. Adding uniquely designed shoulder strap and a little more gold-tone hardware and you’re probably asking why this bag is still just to get better and better. I’m loving everything! Buy through Bloomingdale for $ 548.

Sometimes, it’s amazing what a little tweak will do for a bag. I’m a fan of Rebecca Minkoff Take Tote for some time, but when the studded version came out, I could not see the plain one in the same way again. It just seemed like something was missing, even if the nails were overpowering in some cases.

As it turns out, what was missing was a zipper. Behold: the Zip Minkoff Rebecca Devote Tote.

The initial tote looks a little bit blah after you see a riveting – there just is not enough visual interest. But not everyone wants nails, and you’re not what you want to transfer all the time. So the zipper is so genius – it is not big enough or blingy enough to be disruptive, and then routes the bag in a clean yet interesting way. edition is well edited and subdued, but just enough. Buy through Saks for $ 630.

When the models hit the runway for Marc by Marc Jacobs spring 2010, I am pretty sure that every hipster in Brooklyn fainted from pure joy. Someone go check them and make sure we’re okay.

The most affordable, lower-cost line of Jacobs has always had a certain irreverent, downtown appeal, and this particular set of clothes crystallize meaning quite well indeed. It’s a mash-up of 80 colors and patterns in tribal prints and taste, and the result is a kicky, fun, and committed to launch a wave of (somewhat tempered) trends will find in a mall near you .

Looking at the pictures, I can not help but feel that the collection can only be described as joyful. It is a celebration of the enthusiasm of youth, the new trend to mix things together strangely random and kind of combinations you can get away with if you can call them experiments.

Which is not to say that the collection of raw in the least – the appearance of plaids and prints in the same outfit as contrasts rather than coordinating colors, is a happy accident. The materials, patterns and colors made by experts chosen by the design team MBMJ happy to play up the dissonance and the counterpoint that the plaid, stripes and prints create a race for another huge success.

Sigh. This bag was so close to getting everything, but for me there is one downside that I can not get over it. It’s so sad though because this bag has all the makings of a great bag. Well, I have to bury be bygones and move on. The Olivia Harris Leather Zip Pocket Mini Crossbody bag is actually a very nice bag at a very reasonable price.

If you’re anything like me, you’re kind of wondering what the deal is with oversized zip pocket appears to be flapping in the breeze. I understand that the idea behind this is to give a little flare and something different, but it seems a bit out of place. I imagine that if I saw what I was walking down the street I would immediately stop carrying the woman and say, “OH, you must be careful, something may fall out of the pocket.” Take it for decoration, but again it is strange to me.

However, if you keep that zip pocket, I think this bag is really really awesome. I love the purple color of vintage washed skin. The adjustable strap crossbody clearly can be used as onesided strap and this is the way I wear it. It’s just a really cute bag. Plus, I love purple in autumn. There is a fall color that will necessarily expect, but it is a great way to add a different kind of rich color to your look. Buy through Bloomingdale for $ 255.

I’m so over the whole voltage hippie. It is a subculture that I would have stayed before, and I do not think has much to add to the fashion conversation today. Most of the pieces contain hippie does not seem high-end for me, they just seem derivative and stale.

Unfortunately, “derivative” is the most likely word I can think of to describe the Twelth St. by Cynthia Vincent Outlaw clutch. If the Native Americans would like to reclaim the visual elements of their culture by fashionistas and hipsters, we really appreciate it. Something tells me you are probably all that jazzed about having rich, skinny urban dwellers will cut off their culture, while trying to survive, either.

The whole thing just seems so … unpleasant. The true culture of this style comes from dying (and the participants of the culture still face racism in many parts of the country), and fashion items as the clutch co opting the culture itself, without obtaining any benefit. Perhaps my outrage is a bit much, but the bag is so costume-like and unoriginal that does just unhappy with clear ol “. Buy through ShopBop for $ 295.
